I think this is the ideal procedure. I use it too.
1) Initial rinse: Wet the genital area with warm water to soften the skin.
2) Retract the foreskin: Gently pull back the foreskin to fully expose the glans.
3) Clean the glans: If you prefer, start by rinsing the glans with a gentle stream of warm water. Then apply a small amount of neutral, fragrance-free soap (or a specific intimate hygiene cleanser) to your hands. Lather lightly and wash the glans, the sulcus (under corona), and the inner foreskin.
4) Wash the rest of the genital area: Lather the shaft of the penis, the scrotum, pubic area and groin.
5) Final rinse: Rinse thoroughly with warm water to remove all soap from the penis and surrounding areas. Make sure no residue remains, especially under the foreskin and on the glans, to prevent irritation.
6) Dry thoroughly: Pat dry gently with a clean, soft towel — avoid rubbing. Be sure to dry under the foreskin to prevent excess moisture buildup.
7) Reposition the foreskin: Once everything is completely dry, return the foreskin to its natural position, covering the glans (if this is its usual state).
