probably casted via social media/ DM. He’s fit, tall, and has the average amount of followers that a working male model would have. Which can be good promotion for a brand. I’m surprised he’s covered up from top to bottom. He does fit the aesthetic that the designer seems to like. When Tisci was at Givenchy, he had at least one or two “urban” big frame models at his shows(Rob Evans, Jordan Torres, etc.).
Tisci is just a h0e for good looking me and likes to get their “attention” by giving them gigs. Keving is way too basic to walk a high fashion show. He’s not a high fashion model but more of a comercial model just like JT.
Basic or not, it all comes down to what the designer wants.
I can name a bunch of basic models who’ve walked high fashion shows. they’re filler models/ tall walking hangers. The designers and casting see something in them that fits or works for their show.
And yeah gay designers are definitely sexually attracted to some of their male models, and even probably try and sleep with the ones they thirst over. I’m not that naive when it comes to the business that believes sex sells, lol.

Are they ugly? no. Are they basic people in terms of looks who happen to be tall and models? yes. Does Kevin fit or exceed this description? Yes. Does this mean that Ricardo must’ve fucked them or Kevin in order for them to get a spot in his show? no. Again, it’s what the deisgner wants, basic or not. It’s not that deep and Burberry is not Chanel or Armani.
