It has been reported Kevin tore his hamstring a few weeks ago at the Paris Diamond League meeting. I think he will at least start the decathlon because he will be desperate to compete at a home Olympics, but he is no certainty to complete it. With the decathlon being such a demanding event, I would be surprised if he finished it with a suspect hammy. He is a superb physical specimen and ideally suited to the decathlon. Not surprising considering he's the world record holder!
