unfortunately pretty much all OF's are going the way of PPV
It could be an improvement if they also make the subscription free. One of the biggest issues I have with it is that it's a gamble to subscribe, as you have only hints as to what you'll get. I can look at the number of posts and what they've said on other socials, but you don't know what you're actually getting until you're in. I've been burnt a couple of times and OnlyFans support is abysmal.

No doubt many will price things ridiculously, as I've seen a few times, but if they'd rather target a very small audience who'll spend a lot, that's their choice. The subscription model is clearly designed for large numbers of subscribers with models who post daily. I've not seen many that actually make that work, and certainly none where I'd want to keep it going beyond a month. It quickly becomes dozens of near-identical posts. Deciding to pay for one hot video you actually want to see, with a good idea of what it'll be like and how long, seems like it could work better.

Yea, but you've got to hand it to him. I was subbed to him a year ago and his page definitely delivers and is easily worth the Subscription fee. Unfortunate that he's making more stuff ppv, but I'm sure most of his subscribers download all his stuff available and leave after only paying for 1 month.

I haven't yet found an OF that would make me stay on more than a month. You would need to be providing a lot of content on a regular basis to make people feel like they were missing out on something new. Hence why I say being able to see everything on offer and cherry-pick what you're interested in might work better than subscribing, especially when you could do that at the wrong time when they've gone on holiday or something.

OnlyFans themselves could help a lot by giving more of an idea of what you're subscribing to. Some pages don't even show the posts, so you have no idea if they posted last week, last month or last year. Having stats on posting frequency, most recent post, number of messages replied to, etc. visible to potential customers could help people feel more sure of what they're purchasing, which helps both the consumer and the content creator.
