Kit Connor

No, she still dumbs it down as much as possible 😅 it's very much the middle aged lesbians view of teenage boys sexual desires 🤣
Yup. Joe already said it best when he said that if that show was based on real life, the two characters would be fucking nonstop 🤣

What makes you think that it’s the kind of story that would have nudity under any circumstances?
There's an entire chapter dedicated to Nick sitting in a car discussing buying condoms and the importance of safe sex and being comfortable and ready with a lesbian and a trans girl... just like every horny 18 year old does on a road trip at some point in their life.
This is very much teen gay sex as fantasised by a middle aged lesbian to read to kids... you're not going to see Kit pounding Joe's hole in 4K.

Yeah itss a sugary sweet feel-good show and in times like these, its definitely a nice thing to have for young LGBT+ people & allies, even if it wouldnt take teens in real life 3 seasons to hook up lol
The 3 seasons take place over about 1 year of them dating. Plus one of them is dealing with an eating disorder/body issues while the other is adjusting to recently figuring out he is also attracted to men. Its not unrealistic for high schoolers with these issues to not immediately fuck.

I didn’t know Alice had so many defenders on lpsg. Apologies!
I don't see anyone defending her.
They're defending Joe from your ridiculous statement.
I doubt he believes in Warlocks but he starred in Agatha All Along.
Also, every interview he's given since about October he's stated he's had no solid offers since Agatha, so he's actively looking for work. His only other credit is Heartstopper, so why would he turn that down?

bro the whole point of the show is that it's a fantasy it's a comic it's not realistic it's cute vibes aspirational family friendly western and more diverse version of a "boys love" manga/anime genre story. like the point of a show isn't always realism. boys love genre stuff has a very big female audience just like heartstopper, and it shares some genre conventions:

(they're teenagers; they're at school; there's a class/status difference; love basically at first sight; personal struggles.)

and yeah from my queer male perspective a nice story on a big global platform about queer kids isn't a bad thing but it honestly can be weird cause like why arent they fucking but it's cause it's gotta be family friendly to do what it's tryna do. and yeah we are all on here so we're prob horny but there are queer people w lower sex drives.

and with the adaptation it's always weird to do a coming of age story that's serialized cause actors get older in between and the story is still them being kids and the actors are like trapped in that.

it's not that dramatic tho dam.
