I have a korean friend who is well hung...I haven't seen it but its very clear, that alone kind of turns me on because of the stereotype that they are usually small, he's also well built which is nice too. Anyway this got me wondering if he's circumsized, he was born in south korea and moved here and is devoutly christian. Is there anyone here who knows anything about this?

Flux: hehe good one pecker. From the pornos that I can remember, not that I'm really into Asian porn...I think a Korean would be uncut, I cant see anything that might make circumcision compulsory. Could be wrong but www.google.com never lies.

Flux: No it's Richie Kotzen - Angie

The rest of the song is, she said what's your fantasy, I'll be what you want me to be, black or white day or night you make everything alright...But I can see how you thought it was Cheers and I dont really like that show, like all the old shows it seems to just move too slowly and nothing reall happens in the episodes.

South Koreans adopted circumcision in an attempt to be more American in the 90s. Don't quote me on this: It was Leo Lee who told me. Of the major religions in South Korea, I can't see a particular problem with it in Buddhism or Christianity, but Confucians (1% of South Korea's population) would have some huge problems with it, like any body modification.

Oh, and for reference, the majority of men in China, Japan, North Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Burma, Mongolia, and Russia aren't circumcised.

Most younger SOUTH Korean men are circumcised. Some interesting statistics can be found here:

http://www.cirp.org/library/cultural/kim1/

Because the rate of circumcision is highest in young populations, and tapers off with age, it is implied that the procedure was formerly infrequent, but has recently become more and more common. Today, about 83 percent of young (under 35 years) south Korean men are circumcised. However, what I find astonishing in this report (as well as some other about Korean circumcision) is the number of uncricumcised men which wish to undergo an adult circumcision. Some 7 percent of men in the age group 16 to 29 (of which 84% are already circumcised) expressed the desire to "be circumcised later."

Ouch! That sounds like a major case of brainwashing!

According to this report, most Korean circumcisions are performed not at infancy, but at puberty. At least I lost mine before I could know what I was missing.

I HAVE heard claims that the Korean genome requires circumcision. Since North Koreans don't do it, that has to be a fairly rapid mutation.

Regarding South Korean reglion, the first Christian missionaries were Presbyterian, hence the large number of Presbyterians there.
I'm sure with the influx of American Presbyterians going there to teach, and eventually bringing "Western" culture, also came the practice of circumcision. Who knows why they do it--maybe a lot of the doctors there come to the US to do their training and then return to Korea. That would be a big influence on what they do and why/how they do it.

That's interesting. Do you mean the foreskin has become too tight, or otherwise causes difficulty?

No, I don't know what it was. I logged him as another one of Leo Lee's IDs. He also claimed circumcised men are less likely to spread AIDS. (Since AIDS is in semen, does he mean circumcised men are less likely to ejaculate?)

God I wish I can remember my anthropology class (Which actually ended today)...in an ethnography I read by Paul Farmer they said the same thing about circumsized men having less chance of spreading AIDS...I forget why though and too tired to think about possible reasons.

Anthropology? Isn't that a bit out-of-field? The mechanic's changed over the years. So it could be like plate tectonics or K-T catastrophism, but more likely it's like astrology.

For future reference, among developed countries, the U.S. has one of the highest seroprevalence rates. Only a few former bloc countries have a greater seroprevalence rate.

its becasue the uncut penis has a gland thats always sweaty and wet,and stinky, its a mucous membrain, like a mouth or a pussy, where as a circumcised penis is like a boob/tit/breast,its dry and dont obsourb the virus like uncut penis would,+it gets trapped under the foreskin, and dont come off until he gets to the shower ,so it sits there and marinates the knob, thats why they get more itchy foreskins, adn they scratch it like my dog scratchs his uncut penis, hehhehe its true

1. You can't get HIV from mucus membranes, only by directly putting it in the bloodstream. We're back to 1983 here.
2. By far, insertive-to-receptive transmission's far more common. This is why gay men are more likely to get AIDS than straight men.
3. I should point out that you're more likely to get HIV from sex involving less lubrication because the genitalia are more likely to tear.
4. I wouldn't trust someone who can't spell "glans", "absorb", or "it's".

TLC? I'd prefer if you'd cite a peer-reviewed medical journal. Idiot.

As for child molesters, most of them are straight. In fact, the Department of Justice even includes heterosexuality in their profile of child molesters.
