Korean spas are mainstream places. Guys do cruise and action can happen but the risk is real.

Caution is advised, but cruising is very common (at least at the Korean spas I've been to). Just to be sure, I always wait for the other guy to make the first move (which happens with nearly every visit I've made). Not every advance is welcome, but that only becomes a problem if he won't take no for an answer.

I have had fun at the four Korean spas I have visited. Century is LA, Chung Dam in Philly, Star in Pallisades Park NJ and Island in Edison NJ

I've been to the one in SF many times. Sometimes there is a cruisey vibe and sometimes there is not. I've never seen anybody under 18 there (hell, rarely is anybody under 40! Ha ha), and I assumed that you have to be 18 to enter. I'd guess that 90% of the local SF guys are there for some kind of cruising or sexual experience. From the chats I've had with some guys, a lot seem to be bi-curious types. There are also Korean guys there sometimes, clearly not for cruising, and everybody usually is respectful and tones down the vibe around them, so I'd guess that they are not even aware of what is going on. I've given into the vibe a few times and have had some very hot group strokes in the steam room, usually with 3-5 other guys. The guy who works there clearly knows it's happening, but I think they also realize that if they banned all of these guys there to cruise, they would lose 90% of their customers (and it's usually so empty that I'd guess they're barely getting by as it is), so they seem to be ok looking the other way as long as it's kept very discreet and not out in the open. Most times I've been there, there are rarely more than 6-8 guys total in the whole place. I think a lot of guys get off on the risk of getting busted.

I frequent Korean spas rather often. I've made it my business to go to different ones all around the city and some in Jersey as well. For the most part, you run into the same kinda guys, same scences, and similar setup. They aren't bath houses so of course cruising isn't ok, but it happens anyway. From all backgrounds. Even some of the Asian guys get in on the action. Discretion is key obviously. I go to relax and enjoy the food, but if some fun comes my way I let it lol.

Haven't been in a couple of months cause it was so crowded for the summer. It's always been decent but never wild..
Just went to King Spa in Niles, IL tonight. I have been many times, and maybe you see some flashing or discreet stroking, nothing too crazy. Tonight was completely different.
I went into the steam room and it was pretty packed, only one free seat. No big deal, a lot of people in the wet area. But when one guy left, I wasn't prepared for what was gong to happen. One guy gets up and changes seats, has an erection pointing straight up. Then I notice the guy next to me stroking to full mast. A new guy walks in, I figured everyone would hide their bonkers. Nope - he sits there and eventually starts stroking another guy next to him. Before you know it everyone was strokingL many lending a hand to the person next to them. One guy was even getting a bit of a bj.
Me and the guy across from me - we were clearly caught off guard. We stayed for a bit but couldn't believe this was happening. I was oddly mesmerized but didn't want to get busted. Not really sure what you do in that situation. The guys leaving the steam room later looked like they enjoyed themselves though.
I used to go to Imperial, but not anymore - they don't deserve our money. Homophobic jerks. I know a couple guys who were banned from the place, and oddly none of them were caught doing anything. I guess the staff just flips out now and then and decides to make an example of someone. One friend got a lawyer to write a letter challenging his ban and they dropped it, but he won't go anymore now anyway because they treat people like that.

I've been to Imperial only twice. I felt like my behavior was always being monitored so I never went back. Let your feet do the talking. Driving away paying customers is seldom a good business plan.
