I think it's fair and appropriate at this point to acknowledge that all the posts that originally fear mongered about how he was going to be destroyed because the entire Twitch gaming/streaming community is hateful and homophobic proved to be 100% bullshit. Sure, there were a handful of negative responses, but the vast majority of other streamers either ignored it or made positive comments. Do you think it's possible for us to stop writing off entire segments of the population based on unjustified stereotypes? Doubtful. But it's worth a shot.
