Great thread, particularly for providing former usernames. Here are some archiving tools:

Reddit image aggregator:
popular.pics/reddit/u/[username]
It doesn't show deleted posted but does a decent job showing all current posts of a user in a grid format. Note that it will show all posts, including repeated posts. Also, there is an initial annoying popup ad.

Quasi-archive:
nsfw.xxx/user/[username]
Decent site that captures some, not all, posts from a user. One nice thing is that it tends to screen out repeat posts.

Another archive:
bisdako.newtumbl.com/#q=#[username]
Tumblr-style site with posts tagged by username. Not comprehensive but still good. You'll need to sign up for a newtumbl aaccount (only requires an email) to use this one. For all the reddit posts on this site use:
bisdako.newtumbl.com/#q=#Reddit

Reddit query site:
api.pushshift.io/reddit/search/submission/?author=[username]&sort=desc&size=100
For more intense (obsessed?) digging, this site returns the past 100 posts, including deleted ones, for any user. Any deleted post using reddit's image server won't be accessible. However, if the guy used a non-reddit image site, like Imgur, and they haven't deleted those images, you can retrieve them. After putting in the username in the link above, search for "imgur" and it will show all the links. Other sites to search for gfycat, redgifs and vidible. Reddit occasionally backs up video links which you can retrieve by searching for "fallback_url". Finally to search earlier than the past 100 posts, scroll to the last post listed, find the "created_utc" line, copy the number listed (the unix timestamp) and paste it into the link below (replacing [timestamp]).
api.pushshift.io/reddit/search/submission/?author=[username]&sort=desc&size=100&before=[timestamp]

Happy hunting...

Hi P — I tried using that last url but all I get is gibberish code. Did I do it right?

I clicked on your link and it's working fine. That said, this site does require you to do a little work. It lists the links that you then have to manually copy and paste into a new browser window. IF the user both deleted the post AND used the reddit image server don't even both checking the image link. IF they used another image server, for example Imgur, AND they didn't delete the Imgur post you will be able to find the images even though the reddit post has been deleted. For example, I searched for Imgur and came up with the image below for a post he had deleted. However, it seems he only used Imgur once :/

Thanks for writing back. Seems like it’s truly “digging” for gold but without a lot of certainty.

Question for folks here:
The earlier posts have large (20+ images) galleries. Is it a new policy that posts are now limited to only 5 images/videos? I would like to post more from each guy but don't like doing it in chunks of 5.
Please limit as per Rules.
