The short answer is yes. Unless a trans man has a hysterectomy and gets the parts removed, they can get pregnant. The long answer is it depends on the individual, for some trans men, the testosterone stops them from having their period all together but this isn't all of them. Some trans men still continue to get regular periods so for those trans men, some form of birth control is necessary.

There are several different treatments to lessen the scarring also depending on the surgeon and the care post op, also most pictures of him we see are professional photoshoots which probably edit/lighten them.

He had a flat chest to start with and worked out to build muscle. Likely all they had to do was remove some fat and reshape his nipples.

I would also like to point out that due to our patriarchal society that stresses the male gaze, we've invested more research into making breasts bigger with less scarring and better techniques than actually removing them. If you're born with breasts society wants you to keep them. Women who have their breasts removed because of breast cancer complain about this a lot.
