We have several in Tijuana that I know of. Amistad park, Morelos park, Plaza Carrusel, and Plaza Alameda Otay which have bathrooms with trough urinals and just last year they built a new plaza that has 3 regular urinals but without the dividers.

Sooo this is gonna sound weird but this is what I do: I play a song in my head. It can be any song (in my case it's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody"). Think of it every single time you piss, at home or anywhere else. Eventually it'll become a habit. Then when you're in a situation where you feel pressured to pee, thinking of it oughta help you go.
Heard apparently that the Terminal 5 urinals out at Charlotte Douglas International are getting remodeled or something like that? Hope it isn't true- I had fun there once or twice!

Great observation. It seems just across the border the Mexicans are far more relaxed than the prudish Americans about trough urinals. Lots of trough urinals in Ciudad Juarez as I have observed.
It's mostly the fact that they're cheaper to install since most of them are just concrete basins and they don't require as much plumbing (I'll post some pictures the next time I go), unfortunately most of the guys will turn away and cover up as much as possible when they pee so you don't see them.

witnessed this dude take the longest piss i've seen/heard from a man, after the bus finally stopped for a bathroom break during our long ride.

Absolutely I would! I prefer no barriers at all for urinals or toilets in men's rooms/locker rooms, but this would do.Would u use this toilet?
Years ago I worked on a military base, and a few of the older buildings didn't have doors on the toilets, and the dividers between the toilets only came out to the same distance as the edge of the bowl. Seeing someone take a shit isn't all that great. I only used the restroom in those buildings if I absolutely had to.
I used plenty of urinals while in Japan last month.
Only one had dividers.
They are semi private the design of the Japanese urinals. But still saw plenty of cocks.
At busy places a line often existed to use a cubicle.
So using the urinal was a lot quicker.
