Funny thing, recently I did my best to find more of this, however there is no trace of it. Like literally nothing. I found just a couple of pics of other people from that play but nothing from Leo

Does anyone know where this came from?

It's from "The Alchemist", a theatre production (2014) earlier in his career. There was likely a lot more photos out there, but to reduce costs and have space available they will delete a lot of the old stuff from websites.

The person who took the photo is likely Sami Ibrahim. I'm assuming it's the same one since the quality of the other pictures I found is the same.

I'm unable to access his gallery prior to 2016, but thought someone else could have better luck or know where else to search.

I checked every archivized version from the day they opened the website of the play till it stopped functioning. At one point pics were there bit IIRC they were posted through Photobucket (not by Sami) and are long gone.
All I found from the play by Sami was a couple of BTS videos. One of them has a glimpse of shirtless Leo, I'll try to find the link and make gifs and caps from it

It'd be great if you linked the videos too!
I'm able to track websites by themselves, but not people through social media.

It'll be faster if you search it on Vimeo, it's on Sami's channel.
Also search through Facebook and Twitter wasn't a productive one. I checked flickr as well, still nada. The only photos from the play are just on couole of review articles and they don't have a trace of Leo.

Judging by the original name of the image as it was posted. It seems it was taken from a Facebook or Instagram account.

I know a few cases where celebrities get overwhelmed by people and just delete or deactivate their profiles and all that content just becomes lost or archived when they decide to come back to the social networks and just focus their content in a public image or relevant content to the current state of their careers.

My guess is that this is what happened to these pictures in particular. I believe they were posted from the time before he was cast in Fallen. It seems his instagram account was deactivated somewhere around that time then brought back later on.
