Leo Woodall

OK, I just don’t remember in the end who was floating on the shore and all those killed on the boat as well.
**SPOILER ALERT **
He turns out to have just a smidgen of decency in him and lets Portia escape from the Mafia at the end.

It is a brilliant performance by Leo. He plays Jack as an 'Essex Boy' on the make, Essex being a county bordering London to the east, to which a lot of the old East End London 'cockneys' migrated after World War Two.

Jack is a totally recognisable type to me. Leo really caught something true to life: the mix of amoral sexiness, lack of sophistication, and 'wide boy' seediness. It is brilliantly observed.

**ALSO A SPOILER ALERT, although who on earth hasn't seen "White Lotus" yet??**

It's a testament to the writing, or maybe my own stupidity, that I didn't seriously consider he was just a rentboy before it was revealed (willing to admit it's the latter, as it seems obvious in hindsight). Even with my glancing knowledge of British class identity, and the absurdity that he and "uncle" could truly be in the same family.

Perfect description of Leo's character. NICE, man!

Yes, everything about that show was so good. I thought Season 2 was even better than #1, and how rare is that?

Anyone who has spent their summers in the more popular Mediterranean resorts, particularly on the Spanish costas, will probably have encountered a Jack.

Here’s hoping one day I do and a gay (or adjacent) one!
