Did anyone here attempt to post an image of him nude (photo taken in pink lighting from the side with literally everything "tastefully concealed") and had it deleted by the mods?

I've been trying to upload it but every time I do so an auto-response comes up, claiming it was previously deleted (and yes I tried it cropped and mirrored and desaturated and even with a different file type, leading me to suspect the site is either much better at detecting specific images, or there's an error occurring).

I mean there is literally no reason to delete the file as there's substantially less visible than in other shots on here - in fact tbh it's pretty boring!

Asking for a pic to be removed is not about how much nudity is involved. Even fully clothed pics are covered by copyright. Consider it may be the photographer protecting their own work as they hold the copyright. Plus, making it difficult to post tame pics may discourage people from posting anything less tame. IF that makes the site boring to you maybe find another one. Or you could volunteer to sign a contract with the owners here to assume any liability they may face for things posted here, then they may less aggressively moderate the site.

You're reading an awful lot into a simple question; I asked if anyone else had tried to post such an image, not for you to attempt to lecture about copyright ownership. I also said the photo was boring, not the site, so I suggest you calm yourself down and stop trying to start an argument - despite whatever you may think of yourself, the condescension is certainly not warranted.

Why are you taking the time to argue about a boring photo?

Ask the user I replied to.

And then ask yourself why you yourself are trying to further cause trouble by needlessly jumping in several days after the fact. ;)
