Liam Payne R.I.P. October 16,2024 !!

I understand that but what addiction? He wouldnt have done that extreme stuff if he was happy.
You do know that people who have MH issues cover that they are unhappy by being happy on the outside right also noone and I mean none will know the reason why he relapsed or fell BUT liam right

I'm sorry this happened, but no one will ever know what really happened. Regardless of what happened, I suggest you don't waste your precious time trying to find answers, because neither you nor anyone else will ever get them. Also, remember that he was an adult and if he was suffering from addiction, he could have sought help. He had plenty of money. I understand that mental illness is a serious thing, but he had a much better financial life than most people.

Drug addiction. (Alcohol, too, but that’s secondary once drugs enter the equation, and it only exacerbates the drug addiction — in other words, consuming alcohol becomes about increasing [or decreasing] the effects of the drugs, not about simply getting drunk.)

Until a toxicology report is released, we can only speculate about the nature of that drug addiction, but given the items that were found in his room, it’s pretty clear that he was at least smoking crack — and that he was an experienced user.

Also…

So why the f do singers say everything is fine when it isnt?

This has nothing to do with him being a singer. Humans in general do this. Admitting to needing help with a school or work assignment is difficult enough for most people because we don’t want to be seen as “weak” — now imagine being Liam Fucking Payne and working up the courage to admit to needing help with a crack addiction, knowing that’s inevitably going to leak sooner or later and lead to a flurry of judgment from the public because of the stigma attached to such addictions.

He also might have still been at the point where he was able to fool himself into believing that everything was fine. Addicts don’t always realize they need help — and even if they do realize they need help, that doesn’t always mean they’re willing to seek help.

but why is the question.

Oh I know and we are shamed to not tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I do imagine being LIAM FUCKING PAYNE and its bullshit to think that he is immortal and there not. No one is and thats the problem with everyone thinks everything is perfect in there F life.

Like when they were saying or zayin was saying I am tired of being in a band why couldnt they honestly say lets make this the farewell tour??

What did zayin go make his solo career.

why not seek help before its too late? sadly thats what it is for Liam

but why is the question.

To echo what Southeastern already stated, you’re just going to have to accept that we’re never going to know the exact answer to your question now.

But I’m sure the gist of the story is that he started using for the same reason anyone else does — to escape from something, whether that was pain or depression or even just boredom — and kept using for the same reason anyone else does — because he preferred being high to being sober.

Every addict’s origin story is different…but every addict’s origin story is also the same.

it seems that he was trying to escape?
Escaping? but what was he escaping from

I guess this makes it more official, but people have been considering this possibility since the moment the images of his body were leaked. The bag can be seen in those images, and there just aren’t many other reasons for it to be there.

Possible side effects of the drugs he was on include hallucinations and paranoia, so it’s likely that he was either fleeing some imagined threat (hallucination — he might have seen werewolves in his room, for all we know) or was aware that cops were on the way (paranoia — he knew he could be facing charges if found with drugs in his possession). And he was already in a blackout state by then, so he wasn’t thinking clearly anyway. There has also been speculation that someone from the hotel might have locked him inside the room to prevent further disruptions, not realizing that would trigger his claustrophobia.

It’s highly unlikely that he was attempting to “escape” from actual danger (e.g., intruders). If that were the case, it would have been reported by now.

If you knew anything of 1Ds history it's possible him being locked in the hotel room could have triggered him from when he was a minor when 1D got together which would make sense especially if it made him feel claustrophobic. Would you want to be locked in a hotel room if you was claustrophobic and feeling trapped?

Yeah, he suffered from some form of claustrophobia — which isn’t just a fear of “tight” spaces; it’s a fear of confined spaces, and just being (or feeling) confined in general.

During tours, each member of One Direction was often stuck inside a hotel room when not on stage, with a guard posted at the door for protection, because fans were always camped outside the hotel. That’s how Liam started drinking in the first place — the rooms were always nice enough to have a minibar, and there wasn’t much else to do; they couldn’t even keep each other entertained because they were all in separate rooms. And it doesn’t matter how spacious a room is — all that matters is whether you can leave it freely. He would ask to leave sometimes, and the guard outside would refuse the request.

Also, the Yahoo article you linked earlier mentions:

While Payne was allegedly on a drug binge in mid-September, his bodyguard was concerned for his well-being and put him in a room while they were staying at a rental house in Florida. Payne allegedly escaped from the balcony using a garden hose, a source told TMZ.

…which, if true, means that he was exhibiting signs of claustrophobia just a month before his death; it wasn’t something that was “under control”.

Have they arrested the front desk clerk and others that dragged him by his limbs carrying him and suspended off the floor and forced and locked him in his hotel room?
