Live Streamers Bulge

I have seen some sleep streamers getting banned from streaming even without showing anything. I have worked on categorizing twitch chats before and labeling them as either sexual, doxing, violence, racist, etc. I have a feeling their ban is caused by the sexual comments they get and therefore their streams are detected by the chat/comments evaluators and therefore categorised by YouTube as sexual and violating their policy. This is all speculation but if you want your live streamers to be able to stream more, I suggest avoiding anything too sexual when commenting or chatting.

There was a rule, I don't know if it's still a thing, but you were forbidden to sleep on stream on twitch for whatever reason. A lot of bigger streamer got a pass for it tho.

Sorry if I was not clear. I'm referring to YouTube streams too and I just used my experience on twitch for my assumption.

It’s always the idiots in the comments sections ruining it for the rest of us.

I know this makes it harder for them to be found and runs opposite to what the streamer wants (viewers) but they need to stop putting "sleep" in their stream titles as well. YouTube would be dummies if "sleep stream" and all its variables weren't red flagged upon posting.

Onesie Streamer would probably be fine today still if he didn't switch his streams to sleep streams. I also agree that comments can get a video banned as I've seen it happen back in the day on Twitch live streams.

For those who really want to break the rules on YouTube you gotta get creative to avoid bans and you have to let the people find you; believe us we will eventually. Or... have about 20 emails ready for new accounts.

I think the problem is more serious than that. If the video is reported, it means death sentence for the channel, in a short time the YT team will review the channel and thus delete it.

I lost all my channels like that.

My drive account was suspended because someone reported it.

Even if you make videos for a specific niche, if there's someone who doesn't like you, that person will always report.

I've seen channels from 2 years ago get deleted after being posted here.

I saw a channel that just had unlisted videos get deleted after being posted here.

Using YT's report function is something that really works and it's the death knell for sleep streamers.
