You are actually right... They usually are, but Lorenzo is supposedly often nasty to singers and musicians... I heard from someone that he drove Diana Damrau crazy at rehearsals and at the end she told him to fuck himself...

I mean he became very famous quite young, too young for a conductor and that's just because he is lucky and good looking... Obviously it went all to his head...
