Lorenzo Zurzolo

Vanity Fair Italia openly criticized the end of and defended Prisma and Lorenzo reposted lol
Would love to know the gossip behind it, 'cause now it seems that he wasn't on board with this. It's nice to see that, because we have many actors that would not care about losing a queer role, but then here we have one "fighting" for it.
I mean queer role or not, he's still losing a job so of course he's not on board with this. Plus he's probably aware of the importance of queer stories

Personally, I think Amazon wanted the series to fail. Until now, you can't stream the series on Latin America. How can a series be popular if you're sole place of streaming it's Italy?

The thing is... Amazon probably wasn't even gonna renew it for a second season. Let's be honest, nobody saw the show. So they teamed up with some producing company who along amazon put the money to make season 2, the deal was amazon would stream the show in Italy and the producing company would sell the rights to stream the show elsewhere to recoup the investment.

My guess is that no market was interested enough to buy it, so it ended up only available in Italy. The rest of us watched it illegally and there was no money recovered so they cancelled it.

Which is sad cause I saw more interest in season 2 than in 1. Nobody was talking on social media until season 2 was released. Had amazon released it internationally, more people would start watching it.

Kinda what happened with Industry, season 1 and 2 people paid little attention, but season 3 is a success, and it's also a co-production between HBO and BBC, just like amazon and the Italian production company.

Personally, had they focused more on Daniele and Andrea's relationship since the first season, they could have gained more success. I didn't care that much about the brother's issues to be honest.
I wonder if any other streaming service could buy the series so they could stream it worldwide?

I can't believe I'm going to be without my boys in their swimming trunks... Jokes aside. The series is excellent. Wonderful cast. It's a real bitch when that happens.

I’ve watched both seasons and S1 was just a while other level; S2 felt rushed and all subplots were kinda cringe.
True, the subplots with the swim teacher and also the 13 year old lesbian were pushing the envelope too far... also the season 1 finale was such a high point for me that it would have been a perfect series finale anyway. Basically the only high point of season 2 was the boys "finding" their way to each other but even that was tainted by the swim teacher shenanigans.

Yes. I waited and wanted to be a big release from the build up they made us go through just to be a meh, resolution of the entire catfishing plotline.

This series would have worked out better if Daniele and Andrea's relationship and personal issues had been the main plotline. Perhaps a sideline about Daniele's friends music career and that's it. I hope we can see Lorenzo and Matteo in a future lgbt show or movie.

When I see his face, I cannot help but wonder why some people are so extremely effortlessly beautiful like him, and some others are just random and average.

He is the definition of human perfection.
