But it's well known that Lucas is politically conservative, President 45 Supporter, and even spoke in favor of the "Don't Say Gay" law in Florida and defended Gov. DeSantis... so there's definitely something in that as well...

No, its not ideaology, he's just a flawed person. that's it I am conservative and I have ZERO issues reconciling my same sex attraction. ZERO. He's just a misguided person who has an overly active libido that led him, allegedly, to do some wrong things.
