Since 2018, it seems like celebrities were advised that queer baiting is better than actually coming out. Female audiences love queer baiting . Look at the hype for movies/shows like Saltburn. Sometimes it is...it’s art created by straight artists with the intention to bait queers into forking over their money or attention to what they perceive as one of their own. Or it’s virtue signaling to look inclusive and woke, without having to actually be inclusive or aware. Controversial take here, but masculinity is not a bad thing. Men being hyper fem is just as bad as being hyper masculine. I don't think painting nails or wearing women's clothing is going to break the barrier between straight and gay men. It's far more complex.
