That's a big oversimplification. Other presidents have done worse without a criminal record. That's what you get with a 2-party system... If you don't want Kamala to win, there's no other option. Regardless, the one side would overlook his crimes (which weren't that severe in the grand scheme of things) just like they overlooked literally everything about Joe's declining health and kept denying it until they were forced to replace him.
The American media (and the media in other US-aligned countries) have this thing against objectively reporting the facts of cases where "certain demographics" are involved... you can probably guess the ones. If we compare to the homeless guy that Daniel dealt with, you can get an idea of what I mean. But it's not always that simple and various other factors go into it, but you tend to see this kind of thing especially around election times.
Sadly many people on both sides remain committed to the two rotten husks of political parties, not realizing the same powerful people remain in charge with little change.
