So are you saying only straight people can know how to act straight roles, so only straight people should play straight roles too? This argument has no logic and is based only on a really weird ideological fallacy. Acting is a profession where you play characters that aren't you. The thought that every actor who wants to play gay roles should be gay and come out is repugnant. People have the right to their own sexuality and it is no one's business. There are laws against discrimination for a reason.

I have followed this thread for what months? Years. I am aware of the context, I followed the conversation.

Acting is Acting the role should go to the best actor.

We need to live in the real world. Not a fantasy utopia.
