Wow... great catch! He replied to only a couple of comments and this was one of them. It doesn’t come across sarcastic either (he’d know better than to make light of identities since most of his close friends are gay/queer).Another hint on his sexuality and how he thinks about (sorry of the german youtube loca)^^:

So is there hope?![]()
considering his constant travelling and staying with random strangers, that's actually way more likely to happen than you might thinkHe’s not going to fuck you or ever meet you.

what a wonderful pair… Max’s vlog especially filmed Luke so intimately… and the CMBYN themes and music. Whether romantic or just kindred spirits, hope they travel together again soon.
Yeah, Max was tapping into the aesthetic and intimacy of CMBYN, but didn‘t quite cross into overt romance I don’t think—though his narrative was a bit suggestive at times and like he said, he wants the video to be “open to interpretation”, which I thought was interesting ambiguity given the theme of CMBYN.I mean, obviously Max meant recreating the general vibe and aesthetic of "Call me by your name" and not the story between Elio and Oliver but still his video at times feels a bit like a subtle declaration of love for Luke. At least it seemed that way to me. What do you guys think?
