I love this scene, it really shines. According to IMDB, this was his first film and 22 years old. He already seems very open there and not shy.

Became a fan of his after seeing him in Run Lola Run on cable one night. Watched it again in theaters and remembered Das Experiment. Was so excited when I heard about this film and wasn't disappointed. Foreign films were hard to come by back then, but fortunately, this aired on cable and I was able to record the best scenes using a DVD-R recorder. Those were the days.
i own this movie and the american remake.
Nice. I own a region free player but importing blu rays can still be an expensive hobby. Years later I would discover the cast of Summer Storm and the works of Matthias Schwighofer and Max Remelt and discover just how much German cinema remains a treasure trove of eye candy.
