I'm not too sure about that. Malik has been paired with a diverse range of men, and he still comes off mechanical in most of those scenes. The passion is simply not there, and he's been in the industry for 4/5 years. Even when he tries to push his boundaries, it comes off laboured & uninterested. At some point, he has to decide if he really wants to be one of the greats, or just another forgettable cute gay pornstar. You can't cruise on good looks and muscles forever. Just as i predictable, the Gladiator series was trash, and wasn't going to match the greatness of the Sacred band of Thebes series.
Same problem I have when Filou does gay scenes. I think it went to Malik's head that he became an exclusive, even if it's at Men.com of all sites, while putting less effort into it. So he just doesn't try, and it shows. MrDeepVoice and Dom King couldn't even save that gladiators scene with Malik and Filou half assing it, at best.

Right! That scene was awful, not even the editing could save it. MrDeepvoice and Dom King did most of the heavy lifting, and they too couldn't conceal the lackluster performances. When Malik made his exit, it was almost like he was never part of it. That scene being the final scene of the series was more shocking, because it felt unfinished with no surprises.
I remember seeing an interview of Malik's a couple years ago where he commented that if all his co-stars were like Sean Ford, he'd be a happy camper. I think he's more comfortable with pretty twinks or "fem boys" than he is with other men. BUT, if you ever watch his bi or straight videos, he's as equally robotic and lackluster with the women as he is the men. I fin him phenomenally attractive and am tolerant of his alpha-male act because sometimes I find guys like that hot, so he doesn't bother me as much as some. And I think Filou is growing as a performer. Maybe not as fast as we'd like, but his scene with Ashton Summers was pretty amazing in my book. Just the kissing alone made it worth watching.

Agreed. I think it was more due to poor direction and a lack of planning. We've seen Dom give head, eat ass, and kiss, so perhaps they should have had him do some of that with Filou of Malik so Deep didn't have to do all the work. I get that there was a narrative but it wouldn't have been such a break to have Dom service Filou as part of their companionship.

I don't understand what some of y'all want from him. He's a straight alpha, macho ex-stripper. Why do we need him to become some soft slobbering romantic bottom? In my opinion, the best studio is Corbin Fisher, how can there be no actors who are truly stars, let alone get exclusive titles, but without plots and lines that require them to put out their trash acting, CF can still present great content, because what?? because they find every fantasy of a gay person in every scene..

Most of the current lineup sucks. Kent, Aiden, Josh when those guys were on it was hot. I tend to only watch the older videos now. None of the new production really has anyone that you can truly imagine as totally STR8…
