Drugs, that's it. Extremely unfortunate. He got hooked early on and never really got the help he needed.
Wow this is so crazy and also very sad. I thought he might have gone to jail once or twice in his lifetime. But this shows him in and out of almost every year for several years, and last year being the most recent as far as we know.
But with him being in and out of jail and his looks going down the drain big time, I guarantee whatever modeling gig he had from many years ago, was his last modeling gig period. But I wonder what his body looks like now.

Yeah most likely his work with Paragon Men was his last modeling gig, very rumor kinda but I heard he was was using even back in the VistaVideo days and stealing from the director Ron Williams to fund his habit. How he has gone without help for 20 years is beyond me.
As for his body.. those marks on his face from his latest mugshot are most likely drug induced pigmentation, when it gets to that stage its most likely that his muscles have also started atrophying.
Very saddened to see this. What a tragedy.
My guess would be, because of the lifestyle that he's lived by always being in trouble with the law and in and out of jail all the time, he's probably burned so many bridges with his family, friends, and maybe even some employers that have nothing to do with fitness modeling or getting naked.
But I learned years ago just because a guy is hot doesn't mean he's a nice person who treats people right, has good morals and values, or is responsible and wants to grow and change as the years go by. All it means is he's nice to look at. Or at least used to be.

Hard to believe they are the same person. He used to be the one of the most beautiful man ive seen and a big part of my gay awakening.
Sad what drugs and alcohol do to a person. Don’t know what his personal problems were that led him down that path. He was such a beautiful young man.
There are plenty of studios like that here in LA. I think the difference is Florida's beaches are a lot nicer to film and photograph models no matter if they're male or female.
Not to say that California doesn't have nice beach areas, but we have just as many modeling studios, acting studios and jobs, and even more adult production companies out here then Florida.
But I will say the men and women in Florida with hot bodies like to show it off a lot more than they do here in LA. Hot guys here in LA seem to be too insecure to show off their bodies, sometimes even for BIG money. Even if it's for a fitness modeling job and not porn or borderline adult content like Vista video had.
I wonder what's the status of Marcel today, like right now at this moment. Of course by now we all know that he's been in and out of jail several times for several years.
But the law gets tired of people who are in and out all the time, and there comes a point where they just decide to keep people like Marcel in for a really long time if not permanently. The idea being you can't seem to keep yourself out of trouble so we're going to keep you in.
But I'm just curious if he finally got the help he needs and learned his lesson. But as I've always said just because a guy is hot doesn't mean he lives a good life, is respectful, treats people right, stays out of trouble, or has good morals and values. All it means is he knows how to take care of his physical body and is nice to look at.

Such a shame
Not only does Florida have pretty beaches, most are with palm trees, but the water is warm and the models can go in and out of the sea, giving photographers more picture options. California beaches have a cold current from Alaska running down the coast so unless they film in August or September, the models will absolutely freeze in the ocean. Shrinkage would occur big time.
What’s with all those arrests in 2010 with 3 of them being a week apart from each other? Was he stealing cars each time or getting into bar fights? Anyone know what his arrests were for?
