Does anyone think he'll be taking over after ZOE for grownish? or maybe they'll move on with her postgraduate stuff but I don't really want him to leave for college.

They could gladly replace her on the show with him. Her paper thin acting is such a bore. They had to surround her with a cast of damn near ten people just to make the show interesting. Marcus can at least do comedic acting well, but also reel it in with some serious moments when need be.

If we could get him on Grownish, that’s be awesome!

I agree Zoe can`t act her way out of a paper bag she was the worst on blackish and grownish Junior/Marcus is a good actor and shines on blackish and grownish.

Yes her voice is monotone annoying and she`s completely self absorbed, she acts like a spoiled rich kid with no personality,no charm and no sense of humor just boring and dry.

I didn't realize it until you pointed it out. There are 8 other co-stars on the show. 8! Zoe makes 9 people the show follows around and she's the weakest character on it

I watched grownish to see Jordan Buhat but I can't stick it out n stopped. I thought thay'd might make his character gay but they already went in a lesbian direction for that.

Funny enough, someone in the jordan buhat thread said his friend- who is a guy- got nudes from him.

We know Jordan was a camguy before the show and he's married to a woman now so IDK....

She sounds underwhelmed by everything. even when she's excited. And I know someone like that IRL (who isn't an actress) and it is sooooo hard to get a read on her and being able to tell if she's faking enthusiasm or not.

Her father was Prince’s personal photographer and her cousin is Nas. So that explains how she got into show business with such ease. Lots of connections. That’s pretty much the main reason she got the spin-off because she definitely was the least talented of the actors on the show.

They seem to be setting him up for a more regular spot on Grownish. He’s supposed to be more regular on the new season and it seems like they’re leading to that. He would be a breath of fresh air, because I just can’t take any of the other Grownish people. With the exception of Trevor, none of them can act. They’re all just social media people/Disney stars/nepotism hires who are terrible.

Trevor is actually an excellent actor. He was good in Burning Sands and in American Crime, but they don’t seem to be making much use of him outside of one-liner comedy.

You didn't realize that Yara (lovely girl) is not the best actress? I assumed most people knew that.

Yeah, I really wish they would have gave Marcus a spin-off, that way he can carry a show on his own and then have him with some good supporting players and it's like magic, he knows how to really hit the comedic beats needed for the show and then there's room for his character to have a good arc also. But, I also understand why they left him on the show. It will be interesting to see what he does when the show is over.

THIS! I feel like they kept him instead of putting on Grownish with Yara because they needed at least one younger actor who could carry their role. Otherwise the show would start to lean more toward Laurence and Jenifer for balance. And I feel like Laurence and Jenifer would demand a heavy sum if they were to start doing more than recurring appearances.
