Not only did he only make videos when he had sponsors, so the schedule of a video every monday was changed to sometimes once a month, it was also usually the same sponsor. Meaning his subscribers weren't using his sponsors and so the sponsors dropped him. He probably stopped when he couldn't get a single sponsor anymore. He must be making enough through patreon, or he also has some freelance job, like how he'd sometimes do photography for people/events.
Now the only way he has to advertise his patreon is instagram thirst traps. But i do wonder if this could be his way to step out of the limelight and return to a private life. We used to know a good chunk of what was happening in his life, now we get the tiniest of glimpses through patreon and instagram. It's a hop and a skip from returning to anonymity

So his ex purchased a big farm in upstate ny. Money must be good. He accomplished his dream. I think Mark would have made so much money if he went the route of taking his clothes off.
Mark would absolutely be ROLLING in dough.

I assume its not strange for you to be on LPSG, a sex/nudity oriented site, on Marks thread, a guy you don’t know. i mean, ethan isn't the one that moved back home, only to feel trapped and constantly move around the city trying to find his footing, only to think he'd be better off back in the state he left, and then quickly realizing that didn't fill the void and end up moving back home.
so at least at first impression, just in terms of mental space, ethan seems to be doing better than mark, who is likely still hopping around from one apartment to the other because he can't find happiness and thinks moving to a new neighborhood will fix it.
not to mention mark has gone borderline m.i.a. dude basically never posts. his patreon doesn't get updated much, he abandoned youtube, and doesn't post much on instagram either.

I dont care about this disagreement at all, but Ethan absolutely did move back home for awhile after their second break up, just like Mark did. Ethan’s wonder lust is probably only slightly less than Marks, lol.
I don’t think that’s good or bad. The idea of never staying in one place makes me personally feel exhausted but for some people it’s how they live life.
iirc ethan HAD to move back home to help out his family. something to do with his dad's health or death, i'm not sure. i think after things were better for the family, he eventually moved to new york.
mark however just seems to have an issue of being unhappy, and he gets temporary happiness when he moves to a new place, but then the new toy effect wears off and he goes back to feeling empty and moves again
You're projecting firstly you don't know the reason Mark keeps moving. For a lot of us including myself the idea of constantly moving sounds exhausting but clearly not for mark. It also fits in with his personality to always be travelling.
Secondly him not posting on social media ok so what that doesn't mean anything maybe he wants a break you dont actually know the reason. But it does show he doesn't depend on social media money to survive while ethan need to do OF to make money. Again not judging Ethan's decisions but for you make out Ethan is in a better position than Mark meh nah
if i were Mark and I was travelling around, I would actually be travelling... Like like a year in Nicaragua, a year in Portugal, a year in Morocco, six months in Japan, etc. Would give him great content for his youtube and patreon too.
