Mark E Miller

The way I figure it, we don’t care about your opinion on tattoos and he can do whatever he wants with his body

Yo, chill lol.
Caleb's not a fan of Mark's tattoos for reasons undisclosed. That opinion is valid. I don't think he was offensive about stating it.

Why do so many gays suddenly put on finger nail paint? Is it a message?

It's the latest way of saying fuck the patriarchy. Which of course I'm down with.

But I've tried it on myself. I don't really like the aesthetic for myself or others. I find it too feminizing.

because they want to? Like, why not? Why can't they? Damn. Why are so many LPSG natives - on a dick pic forum, actively hunting for dick pics of their faves - so hung up about the weirdest stuff? It reminds me of when you hear some super-conservative senator railing against gays and then they're exposed sucking dick in bathroom stalls/fucking gay porn stars. :mask:

it's actually not valid, and people thinking/gassing other people's bs takes up like this is all kinds of yikes. It is not a valid opinion to criticize someone else's looks/body. You can have an opinion, and criticize someone else's looks/body sure. But a shitty opinion is a shitty opinion, and continuing to lament something while ACTIVELY participating is toxic behavior. Mark's tattoos ain't gonna go anywhere, so accept it and keep it moving.

You came in on level 110 when this is a level 5 problem. Fuck chilling. You need to calm down.

The statement "reasons undisclosed" should have some weight to it. People express their opinions on forums including LPSG. If there's uncertainty, you're allowed to ask follow up questions for clarification. Maybe it's not tattoos in general. Maybe it's just Mark's that Caleb doesn't like for some specific reason?

Yeah, it's still a valid opinion. Caleb is not coming at him because of his age, race or anything uncontrollable. A decision to get a tattoo is closer to getting a haircut since it is a decision being made. Not everyone is going to like your haircut.

The person asking about gay men painting their nails... the odds are they're just curious as to why they've seen gay men online painting their nails. Who knows if they're from a culture or area where that's unheard of and it's something they're encountering online exclusively?

I think you're drawing from personal experiences and throwing your frustrations at people online. Calm the fuck down

I find it curious that so many of us here wish to subject our beauty standards on top of how others express themselves in style, dress, accessories, ink, etc. Most of us here probably grew up being misunderstood one way or another and probably also had to suppress certain aspects of ourselves (including our self expression). Don’t you remember hating having to worry about being judged for just doing something simple that made you happy and didn’t hurt anyone else?

Me, for instance, I could never wear my wooden carved brackets or my necklaces around my dad growing up because he considered it “feminine,” but I thought it looked so cool! Moral of my story is, don’t be so critical about how other self express. Let Mark enjoy the innocent things that make him feel more like his authentic self.
