their more hardcore fans are against stuff being saved past the deletion. even the ones doing montages/compilations will say they'll delete them once the channel gets deleted.
but i'm hoping there'll be people smart enough to not go for that bs

Markiplier himself has explained that they are 100% serious about deleting everything and that he will employ takedowns and strike peoples channels on youtube if they try and reupload any of it. I hope they are planning to release it on DVD- it would be a waste if they actually wanted it to not be seen ever again any way. I am also hoping someone will download all of them and upload them elsewhere but i suspect that will get taken down too. If we genuinely lose all these videos of him getting half naked I would be so mad.
the channel for one year where you can do whatever you want is a good concept. but the whole legally forcing people to remove any reuploads is a bit too much imo
Yeah especially when they've already definitely made money from it as well...that doesn't disappear lol
it'd be fine if they made their last video a goodbye and stopped uploading. but deleting the whole channel and doing takedowns of reuploads? so much work.
and yes, they've made plenty of money from it. although some of their videos are likely demonetized, they also have merch, which brings in A LOT of money
I like that he fully seems to know what he's doing and who he's catering to.

I could see them putting it behind a paywall or making it a dvd where the profits would go to charity- but if they actually delete everything leaving everyone with no way to see it ever again that would be a huge missed opportunity.

mark is a wholesome human being, look at bon apetit video, he even sincerely apologize for being a jerk, and explained why himself being cocky to chef (i think the chef handled it well)
I get the impression Mark can be a bit of a jerk to people at times. Maybe often. Not that he's a bad person or anything, but that he definitely has a bad side.

I still wanna hear from supermega his old old friends/editors the details on what happened between them! I know he overworked them and wasnt treating them good and they quit but I'll always be curious about the details of what exactly went down like what was said what was the breaking point? I got the impression from last weeks videos that hes also overworking ethan- he seems tired in some of the videos and sometimes i cant tell when hes jokingly losing his patience with ethan or genuinely losing his patience. I hope things dont go south between them like the supermega situation.

I can't speak on his relationship status (except that she recently came out as asexual), but he's talked about his issues with depression and dealing with negativity online on his livestreams over the last month or so.

I don’t think he is overworking Ethan I just feel like it is tiring for them both but mark is handling it better because it isn’t the same as the content they usually make like walkthrough of games and everyday they are doing something different like homemade old person simulator suit or waxing so it think it just more than Ethan is used to especially with the situation with his relationship
