Not that I'm disagreeing with you, per se, and not that I don't want to believe he could be gay (or somewhere on the gay spectrum, at least), but this is not really a good reason to speculate he is gay. He could be a commitment-phobe, for example. He could be aromantic, for another example.

This is late but I'd like to point out that being married or not isn't a tell-tale indicator of being gay/not straight, especially now. Worldwide, many countries are seeing more people choosing to not be married, getting married later in life, and either not having children or only having like 1-2. It's also not like lavender marriages aren't a thing.

My guess is he's straight but he could very well gay/bi/etc. Matt's 48 but has no shortage in potential dates seeing as how he's starred on multiple shows with big female viewership. He could also just be a private person about his personal life and there's nothing wrong with that.
