I follow his IG and the recent posts from his shows have me confused af. I am not really a standup person (I go to the opera and the philharmonic, lol) but whatever he’s doing doesn’t seem like a standup routine. He’s just talking to people and making what can barely pass a joke, like making fun of people’s names and jobs. “Oh your name is Sarah and you’re a hairstylist, haha!” I am— is the bar really that low just because he’s good looking?

Ive seen his show in person and I was a bit disappointed that the crowd work he has posted is better than what I saw. Plus if you follow his TikTok, the questions and jokes he makes around crowd work are in actual show and for it to be about 25% of the show, I felt like I had seen most of it by the time I attended.

Personally, it’s a 3/10 at best. I watched 4 of his shows in full and I may have had a few “ha’s”, or snickers… but most of the time I was just stale-faced, and a bit bored.

It's hard for pretty people to be genuinely funny. How many successful comedians do you want to fuck? Like, 2? What's funny about being hot and successful and having everything everyone wants?

I've heard from multiple people that Rik Mayall was actually incredibly handsome, but you would never know it because he always did all these grotesque gurning faces and would stand awkwardly etc, because he knew that otherwise he wouldn't be funny.

He's a pretty face with a nice body. That makes his comedy a 9.5/10 to most.

I think his crowd work is funny but I wouldn't watch him if he wasn't this cute. He would never have reached this level of success on comedy alone

That’s to be expected. I am more surprised he didn’t get “canceled” by association after the dramatic fall from grace his buddies Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher experienced recently. I guess he’s not big enough for people to care, lol.

They wrote letters to a judge asking for leniency on Danny Masterson in his rape case. Looks especially bad since Kutcher was involved in a lot of anti-human trafficking causes.

And it’s even worse than that because the two of them only came out with that half hearted apology after someone who knew all of them back in the day disclosed that Ashton Kutcher actually knew what was happening at the time and might have even been complicit and urged Mila Kunis to think back and remember what was going on back then. Huge mess.
