Matt rife

Well... he's not that funny to be that famous... just a thought
He went viral because he was hot in the beginning and now he went viral again for that bad joke about women.

This idea you can suck a director or executive and become famous hasnt been true since social media became a thing. A lot of these people are stuck in the 1990s. Matt is a product of the internet, for better or for worse.

Of course his looks helped fast track his career, but Matt is genuinely funny. His crowd work is quick and witty and his standup lands really well.

Also, powerful people in the industry have and still do abuse their positions, which makes the accusation the other comedian stated so bad. On one hand there could be truth to it and Matt is a victim who didn’t deserve his business put out there. On another, it’s a complete fabrication and is foul because 1. It puts Matt in a position to defend himself without coming off homophobic 2. Invalidates the experiences of true victims. And if it’s the latter, Matt should be sued him for every dime he has and will make.

But again, though it’s not the 90s and social media exist, there are still abuser in high power positions in the industry. The recent news headlines and documentaries should prove that.

The guy making the accusations isn’t a comedian. He’s a sh*t stirrer and sells crypto.

The internet is still controlled by executives. StreMmimg farms, engagements, bots, and more. Lol the internet is not free.

People have been throwing stones at him for years, why would he care if someone makes a claim like this?

And despite the popular claim by the haters that "hE iS nOt FuNnY", like it or not, he is extremely popular, anything he posts goes viral, he sells out everything, and he even proved now that he cant be cancelled.

He is successful because he filled a void in comedy that was getting too big in recent years, because no other comedian would even dare to use dark humor as much anymore.

I agree about the stones BUT it is not being a hater if someone doesn't find him funny. Y'all act like we're supposed to sit there and laugh just because he's handsome.

But it's getting ridiculous now and to me it feels like the public are bullying him.
