Because the clinics are (usually) doing a complete STI panel every 3 months, infections are getting noticed earlier and treated earlier to prevent spread. So while there is an uptick in cases, a statistically significant part of the uptick is from much more frequent testing.

Before PrEP testing was maybe once a year if you were diligent about it, and most guys weren’t. These day’s for guys on PrEP, getting swabbed for everything every 3 months is just routine maintenance. Getting tested is finally losing its stigma since it’s just a requirement of getting the PrEP prescription.

He was on Flagrant 2 podcast and was asked what his number like how many guys he's slept with and he said about 200. Kinda what I expected. Haha
If I looked like him my number would be there. Higher maybe?

Where is this happening? I have read the opposite that STIs are at super high rates.
Condoms work at preventing HIV infection, transmission, etc. and against infection/transmission of other STDs. I am technically a top/giver and I have no issues using confoms for anal or vaginal sex.
Also, not everyone that claims to be on prep or the Truvada really is, they do not all get tested for HIV or other STDs, and I know men who order it online, and who are on it but do not take it daily.
I have a friend that has been poz since the early 1980s and he thinks neg guys taking prep instead of using condoms is a disaster waiting to happen. He has taken all of the meds from the start with AZT if you remember this or were around for it, and said they all have bad side effects both short and long term. My friend does not date or sleep with men on prep or who say they are "neg" and on prep as they just want unsafe sex, he only dates other poz men, and condoms are used as unsafe sex between two or more poz people results in their meds not working as well, there are other strains of HIV and reinfection with the original strain or new variant/strain can happen.
Your friend has PTSD from the 80s and 90s and understandably so. That being said, science is science. PrEP is better than condoms when it comes to protecting yourself from HIV. HIV is no longer a death sentence. You don’t have to worry about whether or not your partner has taken PrEP as long as you’re taking it. All that said, you need to do whatever makes you feel comfortable. However, misinformation and scare tactics are not okay.

Woof, he’s definitely been on a couple cycles of steroids.
He was asked about it on the Flagrant 2 podcast and said he considered it until he learned that it would affect his vocal cords and change his ability to sing. He won't do it at all now as his voice is his main asset.

Thinking of this sexy mans nice, round, smooth butt this morning. I'll always take a hairy man, but there's something about a nice smooth ass like his that makes me hungry as hell. I bet he tastes nice

Nope, my friend does not have PTSD, he is realistic, reads studies, and has seen the world's best doctors and experts in HIV they all told him how even if two or more people are poz they still have to use condoms and practise safe sex to keep their meds working, stay undetectable, and to avoid getting reinfected with the same or a new strain of HIV or even types of Hepatitis or other diseases. This is basic safe sex 101 everyone has known since the mid 1980s. Prep is not 100%. There was a poz guy who would post on this website who claimed it is perfectly fine for two or more poz men to have BB sex, he died from HIV/AIDS.

HIV may not be a death sentence but only if you get on meds, the meds work for you or keep working, and you stay on them and take them daily despite the negative and not so fun short and long term side effects that they all have. People who think that "becoming poz is no big deal! It is easily managed or akin to being diabetic," etc. are sadly mistaken.
