It's a lot more complicated to travel when you're not a US citizen and you have temporary status.
yeah, like i said, mateo was on tour, rodrigo can't be following him around. like zenxn mention, travelling gets complicated when you're not an citizen of the country you're residing in. there's loads of latin american immigrants who moved here and they can't just go travel around europe like it's nothing, the open borders don't apply to them. it could be a hassle for them to have to deal with airport security all the time.
i also have no clue if rodrigo has a job or not. if he does, that'd be another reason for him to not be travelling around with mateo, he can't just miss work
