I think he goes shirtless way more often than we think, and since still a D list celebrity. No one is actually running around trying to snap pics of him.

I also think that the reason he doesn't go shirtless more often is because he doesn't like his body. He probably finds his happy trail, treasure trail. If yall haven't noticed it...its a line from groin to navel, finally shoots up like a palm tree and ends about inferior to his diaphragm

any disney star will tell you the only way to do it is to have scandals that erase the whole child star purity.
so many of them once they turned 18 started "rebelling" and having scandals with sex, drugs and alcohol.
that or you can do what nick jonas did, disappear for years and come back super muscular and constantly showing off his body
