depends from relationship to relationship. for some the relationship is open but only when both are participating, so they see it as cheating if one goes sleep around without the other. for others it's just they're a couple and they can fuck whomever they meet. for others it might be that they talk to each other before fucking someone they met. it'll all depend on the couple. i don't think there's one specific set of rules, it's the rules the couple makes
