That's not a guy lol that's his character's mom, played by Jennifer Nettles.

The only other guy who sang in the show is Kevin Bacon, he sang with Max, Jennifer, and Max's character's grandma in.. I wanna say episode 7?

Oh, Max. That mullet-with-shaved-sides haircut that we, the humble citizens of LPSG, mocked, "WTF?" 'd , wondered why someone so hot couldn't find a decent hairstylist, theorized a girl on his cheerleading squad said "I totally can cut guys' hair! Let me try on you!" and he didn't have the heart to decline, and otherwise dismissed - turns out it was all in service of fully getting into your character in this Kevin Bacon project. We'll never question your hair-wisdom again. (Okay, okay, who am I kidding - it's LPSG - we'll talk about your hair a bunch in the future! But we apologize for doubting you on this particular haircut era when it was all selflessly in pursuit of your craft. )
