This isn't a "measuring" picture but I saw a pretty good comparison shot between Sledge Hammer and (I think) Jason Brown and figured I'd share it (2nd link below)

That's interesting. Despite the cloth tape for length and the side measure, it looks like it actually shows something realistic (7 or 7.5) and they seem to be proud of it. Good for them! I could never understand why people insisted that some of those old school guys were 8 or 9+ inches. Holmes wasn't even that and he was clearly the biggest of that crowd.

I really don't think he can be that much longer than Lex going by the multitude of pictures and videos I've seen.
