There needs to be a defined separation between edging and no cum. I consider edging the act of getting as close to PONR and staying there as long as you can. Over and over.

Personally, I don't consider it edging until after 2 1/2 hours of erection. This. I think as the term "edging" has become more commonly known it has lost its original meaning. If you watch Tiktok videos guys will talk about "edging" when they mean jerking off for a long time without cumming or just delayed ejaculation. I've gotten told before I was "gatekeeping" when trying to make this point, and I know that language changes over time, but if the term "edging" means something different now to most people, we need a new term for the concept @Lord_of_Goon describes here.
