My partner has been struggling with signficant psychological disturbances for the past year, during which we have experienced the following:

1) Us being stalked by his abuser.
2) Two emergency room visits, for severe psychiatric episodes.
3) One admission into a mental health clinic, for several days.
4) Twice-weekly therapy.
5) Constant fights and bickering; the result of misbehavior that stems from his years of systematic abuse.

The long and short of it is this: I am not stupid. I know why he is going through these terrible things, but I neither can nor will condone his actions, for which I believe he is still to be held accountable:

1) Persistent mood swings
2) False accusations; i.e. not supporting him ... and who got you all the therapy and resources you needed, Mr. Jackass?
3) Disrupting major events with extreme rudeness, using fatigue and anxiety as excuses for doing so.
4) Disrespectful sarcasm and bitingly sardonic anti-wit
5) Etc.

We are currently deadlocked, as I am done participating in the madness. He worked himself into a frenzy, Sunday evening. We had a perfect day, and I was falling asleep at 9:30 PM ... then he switched, and went berzerk. Claimed he was having anxiety, hence the fit. Good grief, don't I deserve peace and support, too?

I need a quieter life. I love my partner. I don't love what he's doing.

To all gay men who have experienced similar problems, what should I do?
