Michael Cimino (actor)

So seems like his character‘s name in the Until Dawn movie is Max and I just saw the director confirming that they use new characters for the movie. Not sure how to feel about that…View attachment 146400681
German?! 😮
Oh, don't tell me, it's a German production...
Hopefully not an ARD/ZDF production.
Hell, no! 🤯

i mean all it takes is for there to be a german based store that will have stuff in the country's language as well as in german.
i've never been to lidl or aldi, but i'm pretty sure they're german, so maybe they sell stuff with german in the packaging in the countries where they got stores

Possible.
ALDI perhaps during special theme weeks.
Let's hope what you say is true.

Why? What's the tea?

I was surprised that the new show was connected to Germany and expressed concern about it being a German production, specifically fearing it might be produced by ARD or ZDF. These are two of Germany's public broadcasting networks, and some people (especially outside Germany, but also within the country) might associate their productions with being a bit outdated or slow-paced compared to more modern or international TV standards, particularly in the realm of entertainment or fiction.

In Germany, ARD and ZDF are well-known for their news and documentaries, but their fictional content, such as dramas and crime shows (e.g., *Tatort*), can sometimes have a reputation for being conservative, formulaic, or less exciting compared to private or streaming productions.

In short, it's a playful jab at what people expect from German public broadcasting, implying that it might not meet their entertainment standards.
