no u were correct. he wanted to act hard and prove to his friends he was big and bad by shooting at a mother, from a moving car, bc she asked him and his posse to leave her home. these kids be from nice homes yet they wanna be so hood bc they follow the gospel of dirk and von. look at fake ass nle. jah morant, mikey willams too. get some money, get a gun and be a terror to ur own community.
pledding guilty to the charges is not beating the case. mw concurred w/ the events the prosecution said he did . he wrapped the case up quickly and w/o a trial bc he wants to get back to basketball.

Tbh if his parents weren’t rich and he wasn’t a mega basketball star then he would be going to prison. I didn’t know he shot at a mother while in a moving car. hes not from "the hood" per say and his parents arent rich. i think they were just a somewhat financially stable, working class two parent home in a hood adjacent neighborhood. They nurtured his talent, got him enrolled in a good private school and now I imagine they are banking on him making it to the league. Hes had to work to get to his level in basketball, but there was no scratching and clawing to get out the hood (maybe to get out of the next to the hood). That scratch and claw narrative probably is more aligned with his parents who were young during the crime wave of the 90's and were alive to see monstrous housing projects come down across the nation. because of his seemingly sound foundation, he feels he needs to prove (just like you said, you nailed it) to whomever that he is harder than his biography makes him out to be. alright im done yall

"....pleaded guilty to a single felony count of making a criminal threat. The plea deal requires Williams to complete 80 hours of community service and attend cognitive behavior therapy, gun safety and anger management classes.
If Williams successfully completes those conditions and has no new legal issues the felony charge will be reduced to a misdemeanor."
….Which he’s very much going to do, which means the cases were essentially dismissed. It is over. Quit being a dramatic smartass. You know full well.

It’s over if he behaves but in the USA once you invite the goverment into your life they refuse to stay out of it. And I’ll be shocked if he stays outta trouble I mean look at Ja Morrant for example has all the talent and money you could ask for but still has this strong desire to be hood like come on these dudes never learn but I hope your right and he will put this all behind him.
