Minimal swimsuits

Got rid of my boardshorts. Hadn't worn them in 2 years so why keep them.
Did keep my mid-thigh nylon swim shorts for occasions where a conservative suit is necessary.
Kiniki tan through swim shorts are more like a square cut with about a 2' inseam, and while a great suit to have, need something not that brief at times. Also have a kiniki full cut brief which is great when a suit is needed, but no need to be conservative.
Am considering getting rid of my speedo solar, since the kiniki swim shorts and full cut bikini are so much more comfortable.
That would get me down to 3 suits which is probably my lower limit.
Belated update.
Got rid of the speedo solar.
Swim shorts were wearing out at the end of the summer so I got rid of them also.
While in a way I would like to stay with just the 2 brief tan through suits, I will probably but a pair of swim shorts to wear when I am with conservative family members or friends.
I did notice that cool tan does sell tan through mid thigh shorts, so that may be what I get.

That's what's great about Brazil. Because it's always warm/hot there, guys KNOW they are going to be in the sun a lot, so they keep their bodies in shape. A feast for the eyes.

Their diet is also a lot healthier than ours. More fruit and vegetables, fewer starches. Portions are smaller, but meals are more frequent. Their diet seemed to have fewer simple carbs and empty calories. Less junk food for sure. It was a bit of a puzzle because they seemed to be eating ALL THE TIME. However, I rarely saw anyone eating, drinking, or smoking while they were out and about.Yet coffee shops and bistros seemed to be constantly full and and 3/4 of the customers had a cigarette in their hand at any given time.

They drink those healthy, fresh juices all the time, too. I guess a warm climate lends itself to a lighter diet .

Nothing above is correct.

I've traveled to Brazil nine times in the last 18 months, two weeks in the Sao Paulo area each time, with side trips to Rio and other beach areas.

No starches? Rice and beans is a staple there that most Brazilians eat every day.

Small portions? That's crazy. I've never seen people put so much food on their plates and wolf it down the way Brazilians do - men and women both!

Bread? Ever hear of Portuguese rolls? Or, Pão de Queijo?

Sweets? OMG, some of the best sweets in the world.

Yes, I agree with you. Portion sizes are sinful, actually. Wow, thanks for reminding me of Pao de Queijo, too. Love that stuff. PM me if you like, would love to talk about Brazil. I spent a lot of time there. Thanks, guy.

I agree, there is really nowhere that even speedos are worn, even at a lap pool most guys wear jammers or regular board shorts to swim laps. I have seen some speedos in a Bikram (hot) Yoga class. This is kinda hot because the class is loaded with mirrors, and all is on display for 90 min. for all to see. I can't wait til fashion swings back to speedo type swimwear.

Luv Speedo's. Use to wear them all the time boating, skiing. Looked an felt great, dried fast. When walking the beach, shore, maybe pulled on cotton shorts, cut off sweats. Dry, comfortable. ♥

Maybe my outlook is deformed but I go to swimmingpool every day and what Americans call Speedos (in Europe that is just one of the brands, like Adidas, Arena, Nike, TYR, etc.) is normal swimwear.

Distance swimmers tend to wear hipster style swimwear, waterpolo players usually wear a briefs made of stronger texture (Arena Waterfly or so) and divers usually wear very small briefs.

Non-swimmers (beach) usually wear shorts. And of course there are plenty of nude beaches in my country. Often the municipal pools offer indoors nude swimming as well. One or two hours a week. No Speedo needed.

Some of those skimpy European swim briefs with side leg ties, are semi thong style and fit quite snug are really nice. My cousin got to wear a bright red colored European swim wear and really liked it. This was to be his introduction to nude swimming and bonding together with other naked guys. There were two other guys in sexy tight swim suits and being fully erect in them. When my friend and the two other shy guys wearing their tight swimsuits were told it was time to bare it all by the other naked swimmers. It took a some time, gentle coaxing and help by the senior naked swimmers, stripping off their tight and sexy European style swim suits. Soon the senior nude guys had them naked, when they all posed for a nudist swim club photo of them altogether. As they stood in group, you could notice the new naked swimmers, my cousin included, still fully erect after those sexy tight European swimwear were stripped off. My cousin and the other two guys did miss being snugly covered in that sexy material, yet enjoyed a sense of freedom and bonding with other naked men swimmers.

Nude swim hours are offerred in many municipal swimmingpools over here in the Netherlands, but I have had the same in France, Germany and Hungary. One constante in all these places: any hint to sex is a complete no-no. Compare it with European culture of going to nude beaches, saunas or hamams: showing erections is not appreciated. Wrong time, wrong place. ;-)

Your right, Dutchstud. Speedo's just one brand of that style I was referring too. I have an Adidas brief an had a Arena brief, both thicker, heavier duty than Speedo's. The Speedo briefs that I have are thin, light duty.

I travel to Las Vegas several times a year. I always stay at Paris casino. So many European men lay out around the pool in speedos. There were also several thongs. The most amazing part is the men that change in and out of their speedos around the pool without even wrapping a towel around them.

How do they get away with that?
