american shows only have immediate releases internationally if there's an agreement with the networks of those countries. fox used to have a thing with some shows that'd air the day after airing in the u.s.
but for the most part, non streaming shows take a few months to get to other countries
It's weird this comes up, while not legally required it's been very much standard to circ in North America since industrialization in the 1920s, especially after WW2. I've seen lots of wee wees being bi and working medical, not many uncut.
