Morgan Wallen

The fact that he still managed to break records and win Album of the Year is pretty sad.. I was once a fan of this guy but his behavior is inexcusable.. that apology that he issued was clearly only to save his image and unfortunately, without or without it, his ass would've been saved by his fans.. you can tell that he's the kind of guy who would send dick pics to 20 girls at once, while his girlfriend is sleeping right next to him..
you don't know him at all.
saying nigga is not the same thing as the actual n word. Its in EVERY rap song in america.
its not the same thing as wanting black people to be slaves. Stop this nonsense.

Respectful disagree. IMO when a black person says the N word they are reclaiming it and by doing so taking the disgusting derogatory power with it. They can say it all they want. Any respectable white person should have enough sense not to say it. IMO when a white person says it it perpetuates the negative connotation associated with it. Morgan as a public person carries a greater responsibility to rise above it and set an example for everyone. His actions and words speak louder than the average Joe because he is in the spotlight. When he says it perhaps a younger fan of his may think if it’s ok for him to do it than its ok for me too, thus perpetuating the vicious cycle.

well i am a black man. Nothing is reclaimed by saying it. And I know you know that. This "virtuous" nonsense needs to end. Im sick of folks pretending to be upstanding folks when something like this happens. youre on a site that sexualizes men, most are married. Calling your white friend a name is not punishable by social death. This was an outsized response to an issue that's really only an issue because white liberals are always looking to be offended in the name of black people. It's not right.

In my opinion, this isn't right. This mentality. It's racism against black people 101. White people used that word when referring to a black person in a negative way. Black people used it to reclaim the power that white people took away from them by using it, and if you notice, it's never in a racially negative way and is also a term of endearment. Bottom line, if you are anything but black, you shouldn't say it. If you don't agree.. fine. But since we're here to share opinions, that's mine.

Also, if you have a promblem with this site, get off?
