Nevermind the fact that we have had many other QBs come in outside of JimmyG and Lance that couldn't perform anywhere near as well as Purdy did. Some of it is backlash due to some fans taught him as the next Brady but, come on, fans of a team are always going to exaggerate how good their players are when they're performing well.
