And lowered his inhibitions when it came to confronting Alex. Doubtful he would have fucked Alex in anger had he not been drinking, but it lends some truth to the situation to deal with later.

I get that it can perhaps be a bit triggering to see the content of that post. I read it and it did bring back some memories of what happened to me. But, I didn't find it particularly bothersome. I know I can't speak for everyone who has been the victim of such an assault but there comes a point where you just have to choose your trigger. Just don't read it if it will bother you. Nothing in that post encouraged sexual assault. It was perhaps a bit graphical but I didn't see a problem with it personally.
I was delightfully disturbed by the chapter: I felt it a natural step in the progression between the two of them. It didn't really bother me. But as @tem93 says, it may have a worse effect on others. While I'm irritated that the author got called out on it, and am annoyed that he has to be so careful, I'm not responsible for keeping a large message board legal and out of trouble.
I must say, for me the chapter was too hard to read.
It was the first time I tried to read the green consent parts, and it did not help.
So as much disappointing it was for me, I just stopped reading,
and waited with anticipation for the next great chapter to come, just as above commenter said.
Now to be real? I think that one of the things that makes this story THAT appealing,
is that it's too real. It goes into details, it shows the characters feelings, their perspectives, their progress and their weaknesses. If I wasn't here just to rub one out, I think that the last chapter was amazing.
It was violent, it was sad, it was exciting and moving.
It added more depth to the whole story.
So dear writer - don't let anyone bring you down.
Your writing skill is mesmerizing, and getting a notification that a new chapter was uploaded always brings joy.
Maybe for next times - if you feel like a chapter is too extra, upload it somewhere else,
and share the link,
and honestly? You can just choose a different platform to write to.
I'm sure that the audience will follow.
I think for me what it is, is that the colored text doesn’t feel like consent at all and feels like OP is putting it to try and skate out of the edge of rape-y sounding territory.
I like the story, but the colored text just doesnt work for me. Everytime I read it, it makes no sense to me. Like how he is asleep yet pretending to be asleep for the one moment he is giving OP consent, but then back to actually being asleep so OP can have his fantasy of essentially raping his friend in his sleep without it being rape since “his friend consented while faking being asleep” despite actually being asleep?!?
