I think you just appreciate the openness you never got to experienced as a kid, of a masculine role model. Not saying your dad wasn't masculine, just that he was much more modest. There's nothing sexual to understand in that case, so no need for a label. IMO there is never a need for a label, but that's just me.

Not really. I suspect you are craving the intimacy of the male role model you weren't afforded growing up.
What you need is just a bro hug, now and again, that sense of touch that we all need occasionally.
Throw back a pint with a close mate, shoot some billiards and hug at the end, until the next time would be my suggestion.

I think along the same lines, Ive always struggled with men. I was a feminine child and was disliked ect, probably a common story but I do have a hard time making male friends. Naturally its gotten harder as Ive gotten older, im 31 now. So I dont have any friends I can speak of, but if anyone has suggestions Im very open and grateful. Im a successful handsome fit guy, but we all struggle with some things.
