I’d think they make questionable economic decisions.

I’ve a Medicaid client with one, because he’s mentally very young, and emotionally maybe a bit older, but a grown adult. Partnership isn’t in his future, because he can’t conceive of a life where he’s got to consider another person.

During Covid, his mom thought it would be of emotional and physical benefit.

He does her hair, changes her outfits. Nothing else. She’s a really tall Barbie.
